Reliable Skip Hire Across Mid Wales & the Shropshire Borders
At Williams Skip Hire, we provide skip hire for homes, trades and businesses throughout Mid Wales and the Shropshire borders. Based near Newtown, we regularly serve customers in Welshpool, Montgomery, Llanidloes, Caersws, Llanfair Caereinion and surrounding towns and villages. Whether you’re clearing out a home, managing garden waste, renovating a property or arranging waste removal for a larger project, we offer a wide range of skip sizes to suit different jobs, spaces and waste types.
Our skips range from 2 to 40 cubic yards, including open and enclosed skips and larger Roll-On Roll-Off containers for higher-volume waste. Many sizes are available with drop-down doors for easier loading, making them a practical option for household clearances and building projects.
All waste is processed at our licensed transfer station, where we recycle a high percentage of suitable materials wherever possible, including wood, metal, cardboard, paper, plastics, brick, concrete and green waste.

The right skip depends on the type and amount of waste, the size of your project and the space available for delivery. Our range runs from compact 2-yard skips through to larger 20–40 yard Roll-On Roll-Off containers.
If you’re unsure which size is right for you, contact us and our team will be happy to recommend the most suitable option.
How long can I keep the skip?
Standard skip hire includes up to 14 days. Longer hire periods can usually be arranged if required, subject to additional rental charges.
Please contact our office for current extended-hire rates.
What can and can’t go in a skip?
Most general household, garden, renovation and construction waste can be accepted, including materials such as wood, metal, cardboard, plastics, brick, concrete and green waste.
Items such as asbestos, fridges, freezers, gas bottles, liquid chemicals, paints, lithium batteries and hazardous electrical items must not be placed in a general skip. If you’re unsure about a particular material, contact us before loading your skip.
